Wilma’s Obituary Wilma Faye Springer, 88, of Burkburnett passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery with Rev.

Duane Perkinson officiating. Wilma was born on December 29, 1930 in Burkburnett to the late Jessie and Chloe (Trotter) Blackwell. Wilma enjoyed dancing, and all types of games, including dominos, and other table games with the family.

She also enjoyed garage selling, but her true passion in life was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Kenneth Palmer and Robert Springer, brothers J.W., Wayne, and Walter Blackwell; and sisters Arletta and Mary Melton, Viola Kendrick, and Pauline Hoard. She is survived by sons David Spannagel of Spokane, Washington, Dale Spannagel and wife Janine of Tulsa, and Jimmy Palmer of Burkburnett; daughter Carol Spannagel Finney of Grandfield; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
