Wynona Eldreth Church better known as Nona age 92 of Fleetwood, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Miss Church was born March 15, 1926 in Ashe County to the late Allen Hamilton and Chessie Estella Blackburn Church. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by four half-brothers, Herman, Edwin, Ralph and Dwight Church and half-sister, Mildred Church Shull.

Nona was a faithful member of Old Fields Baptist Church for 80 years. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Old Fields Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Powers.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 pm Wednesday, March 13th at Badger Funeral Home. Miss Church is survived by, sister, Willa Dean Church, niece, Corena Evelyn Shull, nephews, David Allen Shull, Michael Dean Church and Steven Ray Church, great nephews, Nathan Hamilton Church and Justin Church and several cousins.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to, Old Fields Baptist Church, c/o Connie McVey, 803 Conley Cheek Rd. , Fleetwood, NC 28626 or to Caldwell Hospice, 902 Kirkwood St. NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
