Woodrow Moore, age 71, of Marshall, NC, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Emerald Ridge Health Care Center in Asheville, NC. He was born on January 4, 1948 in Madison County, NC to the late Floyd and Clara Hensley Moore. Woodrow worked as a lineman for MB Haynes electrical company.

He is survived by his brothers, Lester Moore of Asheville and Douglas Moore of Marshall; his sisters, Zula Manos (John) of Leicester, Eula Mae Rice of Mars Hill, Emily Moore of Weaverville and Aszalee Moore of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no service per his request. Penland Family Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Moore Family.
