Aaron Foster, age 39, of Erwin, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 following an extended illness at Johnson City Medical Center. Born in Johnson City, TN, Aaron is a son of Gary and Betty Keever Foster of Erwin. He was a graduate of UCHS in 1999.
He participated in and earned many metals in the Special Olympics. He loved all sports but was a diehard Atlanta Braves and Tennessee Volunteers Fan. Aaron is preceded in death by, Grandparents, Climmer and Pauline Foster, Virgil and Kathleen Keever, Uncle: Dennis Keever, Aunt: Tressie Keever, Nephews: Joe Keever and Danny Keever, and a special Great Aunt, Maude Harris In addition to his parents, Aaron Foster leaves behind to cherish his memory: Sister: Monica Foster Gonzalez and husband, Freddy Jr. of Johnson City; Aunt: Kathy Bandy and husband, Lauren of Gordonsville, TN; Uncle: Tommy Keever of Erwin; Niece: Olivia Gonzalez of Johnson City; Nephews: Copeland Bennet of Johnson City, Caleb Gonzalez of Johnson City; Cousins Candy Monk and husband, Scott of Mt.
Juliet, TN, Shaun Keever of Erwin; And several other cousins and many friends. Special thanks is given to JCMC doctors and nurses who took care of Aaron, Center of Aging in Home Services and very special caregiver Kelly Ridenour for all your love and care to Aaron and us. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Aaron Foster in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, May 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home.
Reverend Kevin Laws will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 pm and will continue until service time on Monday at Valley Funeral Home. A committal service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Evergreen Cemetery.
Those attending the committal service will meet at Valley Funeral Home at 10:30 am to go in procession. Those serving as active pallbearers will be Freddy Gonzalez Jr., Freddy Gonzalez Sr., Copeland Bennett, Caleb Gonzalez, Tommy Keever, and Lynn Casey.
