Aaron Lehman, 53, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Carteret Health Care. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Amariah Garner Cemetery, officiated by Edward Berringer. Aaron started a lifelong career in the grocery business with Town and Country.

He later became store manager for several different Food Lion stores in the area. He also enjoyed landscaping for J&S and Ward’s Nursery. Aaron was an outgoing person that enjoyed his work and serving his customers.

He is survived by his brother, Rick Lehman of Newport; stepdaughter, Chelsea Becvar; niece, Samantha Jackson and husband Tyler of Pennsylvania; and nephew, Aaron Lehman of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Virginia Lehman and brother, Darrin Lehman. Family and friends are welcome to submit online condolences at www.
