LODI-Aileen Mary (Brown) Brager, age 87, of Lodi, Wis. , passed away with her loving family by her side on June 4, 2018. She was born in Madison, Wis, on December 13, 1930.
She was united in marriage to Raymond (Rocky) Brager on February 4, 1984. She was an active member of Dekorra Lutheran Church. Her faith and church family were always an important part of her life, she loved Pastor Ryan and his sermons.

She loved being a clown for the Soon to Be Famous Lodi Band, and in recent years enjoyed going to the Lodi Nutrition center.
She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and continued to cross-stitch until Alzheimer’s took away her ability to count the stitches. She made beautiful Christmas stockings for all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Aileen had a gift to make those around her feel special.
She sent birthday cards to everyone she knew, and always took the time to hear about your life. She was one of those rare people that was always pulling for you, always your cheerleader and loved everyone unconditionally. She had the ability to love you “where you were at”.
While others might judge, she picked you up, brushed you off, and told you, “you are worthy, I love you, and God loves you”. She loved hugs laughter, and a busy bustling house. Aileen will be welcomed into heaven with open arms, and will once again be whole; no more pain, heart failure, or Alzheimer’s to steal away her cherished memories.
She will be missed by many family and friends. She is survived by her husband Raymond; six children, Gary (Cheryl) Kohl, Joleen Nelson (David Engel), Jackie McGinnity (Jim), Jeff Kohl (Diane Koepke), Steven Kohl (Amy), Theresa Valencia (Justo); Foster daughters Beth Wentworth, Kelly Tomko-Ewing, and Kim Schroeder; 23 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren, and special friends Robin and Dave Kinnunen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aunts and Uncles, and Grandson Vicente Valencia.
Funeral services will be held at DEKORRA LUTHERAN CHURCH, N3099 N. Smith Rd, Poynette, at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018, with Pastor Ryan Rouse presiding. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME LODI, and also at the church on Wednesday, from 9:30 am until time of the service. A luncheon will be served at church immediately following the service and continue until the funeral procession returns. A special thank you to Agrace Hospice care for all the TLC you gave Aileen and her family.
