Obituary for Albert “Dale” Fisher Albert “Dale” Fisher (1934-2018) CEDAR FALLS – Albert “Dale” Fisher, 83, of Cedar Falls died Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his home. He was born July 23, 1934, in Clarksville, Iowa, son of Arthur William and Dorotha Leone (Meskimen) Fisher. He married Dorothy E. Mitchell on August 15, 1964 in Galena, Illinois.

He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1952 and worked in auto parts sales with Cedar Falls Auto, NAPA Auto and Dorfman Auto, prior to co-owning Big A Auto Parts. He retired in March 2001. Survived by: his wife of Cedar Falls; six daughters: Cindy Blagg of Pueblo, CO, Linda (Darrin) Dalpiaz of Cedaredge, CO, Kimberly (Patrick) Casey of Cedar Falls, Kathleen Anderson of Seabrook, TX, Tamara (Steve) Lerma of Puyallup, WA, Jodee (Mark Striegel) Creery of North Richland Hill, TX; a son, D. Scott (Robin) Fisher of Mt.

Pleasant, IA; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: two brothers, Alvin Wade Fisher and Alan Henry Fisher; a sister, Darline Short; and a granddaughter, Shelby Daehler. Memorial Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, at First Christian Church in Cedar Falls, with visitation for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Inurnment at a later date in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date.
