Albert Edward Griffith, Jr. December 09, 1964 – May 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation It is with great sadness that the family of Albert Edward Griffith, Jr. announces his untimely passing on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township. He was 54. Albert (Al) graduated with Honors from Edgewood High School before joining the US Navy in 1985.

He was stationed in Santa Clara, CA for 4 1/2 years until he was honorably discharged after sustaining a knee injury. He worked various jobs throughout the remainder of his life but in his spare time enjoyed concerts, working on cars, and throwing back a few after a long day. He is survived by his mother Diana Griffith-Matkowsky, 5 sisters – Diana, Brenda, Kelly (Jon), Jacqueline (Emil), & Heather, and 2 brothers – Matthew & Andrew.

He also leaves behind 6 nieces – Amber, Natalie, Brianna, Taylor, Lauren & Summer, 4 nephews- Christopher, Forrest, Robert, & Brandon and dozens of friends that will miss him dearly. Friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Friday, June 14th at 11am at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
