Albert’s Obituary NARROWS, VA – Albert Junior Allen, age 76, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at his home in Narrows, VA. Born February 18, 1942, in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Albert and Selma Dollar Allen. Albert worked for Continental Nail and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Arvonia Lucas; and three sisters. Survivors include his loving wife, Aletta Jean Wilson Allen; four sons, John Moore and Jesse of Christiansburg, VA, Paul Allen of Floyd, VA, James H. Collins, Jr. and Samantha of Rich Creek, VA, and Robert Collins of Narrows, VA; five daughters, Vada Dowell and James of Narrows, VA, Brenda Hopkins and Bobby of Pembroke, VA, Barbara Ratcliffe and Kevin of Myrtle Beach, SC, Donna Rose of Chattanooga, TN, and Rita Allen and Scott of Peterstown, WV; two sisters, Marquetta Bryant and Shelia Heatherly, both of AL; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date.
