Albertin A. Guerard, age 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning November 27, 2018, at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island February 24, 1928, to the late Albert and Pomela (Richard) Guerard. Bert was also preceded in death by his first wife, Anneliese (Eggl) Guerard in 1981.

Bert is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Scott) Guerard, whom he married in 1983. He is also survived by several siblings. Bert was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam and Korea and retired as a MSgt after twenty years of service.

Following his military retirement, he worked several years at Detroit Aluminum & Brass and Kroger’s. Bert was an avid reader. He was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and former member of the AmVets, American Legion, and Eagles.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine at 12 noon. The arrangements are being handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
