Dianna Lee “Danny” Focht, age 66 of Belle Center, Ohio passed away peacefully at 3:10 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Lima Memorial Health System surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 13, 1952 in Lima, Ohio, a daughter of the late Gerald M. and Carmen Joan (Bodey) Elsass. She was also preceded in death by two infant children, Amanda Jo and David Lester Focht and her in-laws, Lester and Jane Focht.

Dianna married the love of her life, David L. Focht February 16, 1980 in Cridersville, Ohio where together they were blessed to have shared thirty eight years together. Other survivors include a daughter, Susan (Chad) Frazier of Bellefontaine, Ohio; two grandchildren whom she adored, Blake and Brayden; her twin sister, Deborah (Don) Lillard of Bellefontaine; brothers, Rory “Chip” (LeAnn) Elsass of Wapakoneta, Ohio and Shawn (Michael) Elsass of California and several nieces and nephews. Dianna retired after twenty seven years from United Telephone and later Sprint Telephone.

After retiring, she worked at Stemble’s Meats in Belle Center for thirteen years. She loved watching The Ohio State Buckeyes with her husband and grandsons. She enjoyed watching her grandsons play sports and took pride in having the prettiest of flowers every season.

She also had a passion for decorating for all the holidays. She had been a member of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Cridersville. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 2 to 4 P.M. at the Veterans Memorial Building 615 Center St. in Belle Center.

Following the visitation, the family invites everyone to celebrate Danny’s life from 6 to 10 P.M. at the Veterans Memorial Building. The family would like to honor Danny by having everyone wear their favorite college football attire. There will be a live DJ present.

If Ohio State plays during the celebration, the Ohio State and Michigan State football game will be streamed during the celebration. They’ve requested that you bring appetizers, drinks of your choice and games that can be played indoors. The family was assisted with the arrangements by the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
