Alfred L. Rivet Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend; Alfred L. Rivet, 86, a member of a widely known New Hampshire family, died Saturday afternoon October 6, 2018 at his home at Graystone Farm in Salem, New Hampshire. Al was blessed to be married to three special women in his life, Yvette (Desmarais) Rivet, Virginia J. (Moran) Rivet and most recently Karen (Hargreaves) Rivet, whom all passed away before him. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, December 5, 1931, a son of the late Joseph D. and the late Edwidge (Simon) Rivet, Al attended Ste.

Jeanne D’Arc Grammar school and Greater Lowell Vocational Technical High School. A proud veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a Seargent. Prior to his retirement, Al was a Court Officer for the Superior Court of Nashua with the Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Office.

Previously he worked for the City of Lowell as a Carpenter with the Lands and Building Department. A Past Commander of the Pelham VFW Post 8401, he was also a member of the American Legion Post 100. Al is survived by three daughters Dianne Clark, Christine Comeau, both of Sandown, NH and Diane Juliano and her husband Fred of Ludlow, MA; two sons Stephen Baldwin and his wife Cindy of Townsend and Daniel Rivet of Manchester, NH; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister Jeanne Bisson of Nashua, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the father of the late Edwidge Rivet, and brother of the late Germaine Millette, the late Lucille Godfroy and the late Albert Rivet. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Visitation Friday morning from 10 to 11:30 A.M. at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM followed by his Funeral Service at 11:30 A.M at the Funeral Home.
