Mr. Gutierrez is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Claudia Liza Gonzalez; parents, Eliseo Gutierrez and Adelaida Cuellar Gutierrez and a sister, Maria Del Refugio Gutierrez. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife, Thelma Gutierrez; sons, Alfredo Jr. (Lucy) Gutierrez, Manuel D. (Marisela M.) Gutierrez; daughters, Patricia E. (Diego Jr.) Gonzalez, Yolanda G. Paredes, Maria E. Gutierrez (Herby Martinez), Leticia E. Gutierrez (Isidro Ramirez); twenty-two grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; brothers, Jose F. (Ella W.) Gutierrez, Eliseo E. Jr. (Belen) Gutierrez, Nicolas I. (Elsa S.) Gutierrez; sisters, Antonia G. (Teofilo Jr.) Vela, Juanita G. (Oswaldo H.) Ramirez, Margarita G. Gurush, Olga G. (Ramiro) Benavides and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at 8 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. The funeral procession will depart at 10:45 a.m. for an 11 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at El Ranchito Cemetery in Uribeño, Texas.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
