ALICE FAYE WILLS, age 80, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 5:15 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington CH. She was born on January 8, 1938 in Fayette County to Hugh and Mazie Vance Rodgers. Alice retired from the Fayette County Commission on Aging where she had worked as a receptionist.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed taking care of her cats and being with her family. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ellsworth E. “Gene” Wills; and siblings, Pauline Ryan, JoRetta Lowe, Erma Edington, Herman Rodgers, and Samuel Rodgers.

Survivors include her son, Randy Rodgers; step-daughters, Holly (Barry) Ellinger, Sonya Smith, and Sandy (Tony Stacey) Meadows; step-grandchildren, Hidy (Sean) Alty, Sean Smith, Devin Smith, Jenny Meadows, and Cindy Meadows; step-great-grandchildren, Haley Alty, and Hannah Alty; niece, Lois Wright; and sister-in-law, Sarah Rodgers. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery.
