Obituary for Alice Ferniz Alice Ferniz passed away peacefully on November 28, 2018 at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of Carroll H. Ferniz. Mother of Wyatt B. Stuard III (Ali), Terri Stuard Salinas (Ricardo), Steven C. Stuard, Todd D. Ferniz (Carol), Cynthia Decuir (David) and the late Bryan Ferniz.

Sister of Lois Hamilton (Mike Constance), the late Mary June Hamilton Stringer and Ellen Hamilton Tessier. Daughter of the late Y. Z. Hamilton, Jr. and Mary “Liz” Roegner Hamilton. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Alice was born in Birmingham, Alabama and lived in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana for many years. She retired from Bell South after 31 years of dedicated service and later worked for First USA Storage (formerly Belle Chasse Self Storage). She was a devout Christian and was a member of First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse, 8828 LA-Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy. , Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 11am to 2pm.
