While in Houston, he met his future bride. Then on May 19, 2013, he married Kate Tabony in Bora Bora. Mike’s family and friends respected his work and his authentic fun-loving demeanor.

More than anything, he loved to spend time with his daughter, Scarlett. They enjoyed building with blocks, taking trips to the playground and the zoo, and reading together. Additionally, Mike loved all things Disney and was overjoyed to make the trip with his family.

Mike’s other passions in life involved snow skiing, scuba diving, sky diving, traveling, photography, and watching Formula 1 racing and football, always cheering on his wife’s Alma mater, the LSU Tigers.
