Obituary for Gerald Coglaiti, Sr. Gerald Coglaiti, Sr., 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Linda Matherne Coglaiti and devoted father to Gerald Coglaiti, Jr. (Heather) and Christine Coglaiti, and grandfather to Lexie, Sophia and Lachlan. Gerald was born to the loving parents of the late Charles and Anna Mae Baudean Coglaiti.

He was the brother of the late Charles Coglaiti, Jr., Gayle Ann Latapie, and Carolyn Chauvin. Gerald is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly. Gerald was a native New Orleanian and was residing in Covington at the time of his passing.

Gerald proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp and had a long career with Entergy, retiring after 47 years. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. MD Anderson provided care, support, and added irreplaceable time to Gerald’s life.
