Obituary for Louanna Landry Simoneaux Louanna Landry Simoneaux entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the age of 85 in Marrero, La. Louanna was born on March 1, 1933 in Pierre Part, La. She was a lovely wife of late James A Simoneaux, Sr, mother of Carla (Max, Sr) Miller, Bonnie (Jerome) Labat, and James (Therese) Simoneaux, Jr. Grandmother of Max, Jr., Paul, Peter, Sr., Matthew, Sean, Christopher, and Michelle.

Great-Grandmother of Aubri, Ava, Zoe, Emma, Elliot, Peter, Jr, Caleb, Sarah, Anna, Melody, Alena, Brienne, Spencer and Luke. Step Great Grandmother of Sadie and Savanna. She is survived by her sisters and brothers, Therese Theriot, Bessie Leonard, Effie Landry, Willie Landry, and Heyward Landry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie C Landry and Pauline M Landry, brothers Inez and Aubrey Landry and sisters Celine Vaughn and Lucy Mae Pipsair. She was a volunteer at Chinchuba School for the Deaf when her 2 children Carla and James attended. She was a wonderful homemaker.

She enjoyed watching LSU and Saints games. She was devoted to her children, gave of herself unstintingly, stayed up-to-date on current events, was generous to a fault, opened her home to many over the years, and enjoyed spending her time on FaceBook with family and friends. She was curious, always trying new things, and always learning.

She will be missed desperately. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Hosanna Church, 2215 Barataria Blvd, Marrero, La 70072 on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 9 am until 11 am. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11 am.

Interment to follow Westlawn Memorial Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Ave, Gretna, La 70056. Mothe Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may view and sign the online guestbook at www.
