Mrs. Alice Crow Jernegan, a resident of Skipperville, died Wednesday evening, October 17, 2018. She was seventy years old. A memorial service for Mrs. Jernegan will be held 1:30 P.M. Sunday, October 21, 2018 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Dr. Billy D. Gaither officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until service time. Mrs. Jernegan was born June 28, 1948 in Sylacauga, Alabama to the late Robert Carl Crow and Hazel Waldrip Crow. She worked with the Dale County Board of Education as a school nurse for twenty years.

She was an amazing wife and mother. Her passion was gardening and she loved to go antiquing (junking) with her sister, Dale. She loved spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She unselfishly served her family with her whole heart. Survivors include her husband, James Toby Jernegan of Skipperville; three sons, Jason (Yanci) Jernegan of Denver, Colorado, Jared (Teresa) Jernegan, and Justin (Shea) Jernegan all of Skipperville; seven grandchildren, Kevin Jernegan, Isaac Jernegan, Grace Jernegan, Harrison Jernegan, Wyatt Jernegan, Kaitlyn Jernegan, and Jase Jernegan; one sister, Dale (Wayne) Sumners of Chelsea, Alabama. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, Alabama 35213.
