Mrs. Janice Maund Shaw, a resident of Ozark, died Friday, November 23, 2018, at her home. She was seventy-two years old. A private memorial service for Mrs. Shaw will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Shaw was born May 13, 1946 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Earnest Elmer Maund and Evie Clyde Woodham Maund. She attended Carroll High School in Ozark. Mrs. Shaw loved her grandchildren and was an avid Auburn fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Margie Wright and one brother, Eugene Maund. Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Bobby Shaw of Ozark; one daughter, Tammy Shaw Ozark; two sons, Bobby “Joey” Shaw Jr. (Cheri) of the Blackwoods Community, and Scotty Shaw (Betty) of Ozark; four grandchildren, Jennifer Nicole Thomas of Slocomb, Blaisha Rena Shaw of Jacksonville, Florida, Jayci Brianne Dankert of Slocomb, and Lily Margaret Shaw of the Blackwoods Community; two sisters, Jane Roberts (Grover) and June Beasley (Royce) both of Ozark. .
