Mrs. Magdalena Trenz White, 83, of Ozark, died Saturday, October 6, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. White will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 12, 2018, in St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Ozark with Reverend Frederick G. Boni officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Mrs. White was born September 30, 1935 in Auerbach, Germany to the late Joseph Johann Trenz and Katherina Deiml Trenz. She and her late husband lived in various places in the United States while he served in the military, making Ozark their home in 1966 following his retirement.

Mrs. White loved to play bingo, watch the “Price Is Right”, and see her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Franklin White, Jr.; and her son, Lawrence Wayne White; and her grandson, Jonathan Robert Gray. Mrs. White was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Ozark.

Survivors include two daughters, Rose Ann Gray (Robert) of Cornersville, Tennessee, Teresa Fitzgerald (Henry) of Aiken, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Gray, Robin Michelle Beck (Matt), Storm Mason Gray, Slate Morgan Gray; great grandchildren, Nellie K. Russell, Terra Sage Gray, Anniston J. Beck, N. Jett Gray Harmon, Phoebe Willow Gray, Robert Oliver Gray; two sisters, Rosa Fitz and Margrete Deinzer; four grand-puppies, Sassy, Dutchess, Lady, and Bella. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Attn; Tribute Department, St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
