ALICE’s Obituary ALICE JOYCE SNELSON, age 79, of Cowan, Tenn. , departed this life on Wednesday, January 30 2019, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Lamesa, Texas on April 24, 1939, to the late Irline Thomas Stotts and Alice Kidd Stotts.

Ms. Snelson was a homemaker. She and her late husband, Bobby were owners of the former Corner Market in Cowan for approximately 10 years. They were known for their penny candy.

Mrs. Snelson enjoyed cooking, sewing and in recent years she liked to watch game shows and the Hallmark Channel on T.V. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Snelson and a sister, Jonell Hodges.

She is survived by her children; Cindy (William) Greer, Belinda Gass,Teresa Marion all of Cowan, grandchildren; Billy (Megan) Greer of Nolensville, Janet Gas and Bobby Gass of Cowan, Zac (Rebecca) Marion of Winchester, Jared Marion of Cowan, brothers; Richard (Wanda) Stotts, Tommy (Brenda) Stotts, sisters; Bobbie (Kenneth) Frank and Cecilia Bryant all of Texas. 3-great-grandchildren, Will Greer, Jay and Mark Gass.
