Obituary for Alice Kathryn Sakowski Alice Kathryn Sakowski (Nee Scupp), 91, of Tuxedo Park, NY has entered into eternal rest on Tuesday July 24, 2018. Born in South Amboy and graduated from St. Mary’s High School, she was a resident of Matawan, NJ, for most of her adult life. Alice was a devoted mother and her life revolved around her family.

She was an active member of her church, the PTA and the Rosary Society. Alice was predeceased by her parents Joseph M. and Katherine (Nebus) Scupp, her husband of 46 years Walter Sakowski Sr, and her brothers Raymond, Joseph and Robert Scupp. She is survived by her loving children Alison Wiedegreen, her husband Chip, Walter (Buddy), his wife Suzanne, Robert (Bobby), his wife Dina and cherished grandchildren Justine, Paul, Charles, Kyle, Summer, David, Danny and Hayley, dear sister Kathleen Scupp, Sisters-in-law Dorothy Jeglinski Scupp and Dorothy Tobin Scupp and many caring nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 AM followed by an 11 AM funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 531 Washington Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private.
