OBITUARY Alicia Garcia February 8, 1936 – January 21, 2019 LEXINGTON – Alicia M. Garcia, age 82, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019, at Lexington Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, a frequent presence at the Lexington Senior Center, and spent countless hours volunteering with Meals on Wheels. She was a kind and beautiful soul who loved spending time with her family, who were the joy of her life.

Left to cherish Alicia’s memory are her daughter, Yvonne Creekmore (Todd) of Lexington, SC; sister, Aida Figueroa of Redwood City, CA, and brother, Father Ed Figueroa, OMI of Recife, Brazil. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Angela Santas (Luey) and Jesse Brown, and six great-grandchildren, Emory, Ethan, Isaiah, Story, Nicolas and Lucas. A funeral to celebrate Alicia’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lexington, SC, with the Rev.

Raymond J. Carlo officiating. Burial will be at McDowell Memorial Park in Marion, NC. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Alicia can do so by memorial donation to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2350 Augusta Highway, Lexington, SC 29072 or the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, 9480 North De Mazenod Drive, Belleville, IL 62223-1160.

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the Garcia family.
