Obituary for Alicia L. Harriman Orrington – Alicia L. Harriman, 58, passed away peacefully at home with her family and went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2018, after a long battle with Polycythemia Vera, a rare bone marrow disorder. She was born December 9, 1959, the daughter of Susanne (Cyr) and G. George White. Alicia was a 1978 graduate of Brewer High School and worked at the Hilton Hotel in Bangor.

She also sold Avon in her younger years before having two children. Alicia loved life, music, books, her gardens, knick-knacks, and above all, her family and animals, especially her squirrels, birds, and two cats, Horatio and Honey. Alicia is survived by her husband of 33 years, Barry Harriman, of Orrington, who was her partner for many years before getting married on October 6, 1985; a daughter, Brandi M. Harriman and her companion, Dana Dube, of Orrington; a son, Kyle B. Harriman, of Orrington; three grandsons, Zander Davis, of Brewer, Cole Burke, of Orrignton, Benjamin Allen, of Kenduskeag; sisters-in-law, Lynn Meierdirk, of Orrington, Nancy Grant and her husband, Fred, of Stockton Springs, Gayle Hamm and her husband, Leroy of Bucksport; three special aunts, Pamela Perkins, of the Marshall Islands, Chris Sawhney, of Florida, Penny Ewing and her husband, Darrell, of New Jersey; her two closest friends, Theresa Chapman, of Holden, and Susan Pickering of Orrington; as well as many other friends and family.
