Graveside services for Allen Jones Jr, age 77 of Mineola, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at the New Hope Cemetery in Mineola with Robert Lugo officiating and under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Allen passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Tyler. He was born December 6, 1941 in Ft.

Smith, Arkansas to the late Harve Allen and Leola (Addison) Jones. Allen served his country in the United States Navy and has been a Mineola resident for 50 years. As a music enthusiast he loved to play the guitar and harmonica.

He volunteered for Meals on Wheels, enjoyed bicycling, card tricks, his dogs, and most of all his family and grandchildren. Allen retired after 36 years with the maintenance department of Trane Air Conditioning. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Jones in 2018.

Allen is survived by son, Tracy Jones and wife, Tamara of Mineola; daughter, Vickie Albritton and husband, Larry of Tyler; brother, Marc Victor Jones and wife, Joyce of Tyler; grandchildren, Savannah Albritton of Tyler, Spencer Jones of Mineola, and Emily Jones of Mineola.
