OBITUARY Allorah Sue Coulson July 30, 1928 – September 12, 2018 Allorah Sue (Sparks) Coulson, 90, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, September 17, 2018 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Pearce, First Baptist Church of Iowa Park, Texas officiating. Graveside services will follow at Hampton Vaughan at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls, Texas under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.

Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Dutton Funeral Home. Sue was born on July 30, 1928 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to William Jefferson and Jenny Lee (Arnold) Sparks. She married Darrell Wayne Coulson on December 11, 1947 in Wichita Falls.

Sue worked as a teacher’s aid at Ben Franklin Elementary until her retirement. She taught Sunday School for several years at Trinity Baptist Church in Wichita Falls prior to moving to Iowa Park where she became a member of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park. Sue loved to paint landscapes and historical structures and shared this hobby with her painting buddies.

Sue also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sue is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sons, Dennis and Jeffry Coulson. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Beckie Lovelady and her husband, Randy of Iowa Park; son, Ronnie Coulson and his wife, Shellie of Lantana, Texas; one sister, Minnie Bee Perry and her husband, Lester of Wichita Falls; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls or to Texoma Christian Care Center.
