Obituary for Alma Jo Webb Kinsman, Ohio – Alma Jo Webb, age 79, died on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Hospice House of Poland. She was born on July 18, 1939 in Grantsville, West Virginia, a daughter of Lelah Elizabeth (Nitz) and Joseph Alfred Stout. Formerly of Akron and Cleveland Ohio, Mrs. Webb was a Wayne, Ohio resident for over twenty years.
On March 24, 1956 she married Burkett Hobert Webb. She was a cashier for the CVS Pharmacy for over twenty-two years in Lakewood, Ohio and downtown Cleveland and retired in 2000. Mrs. Webb was a member of the Cherry Valley United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed shopping and listening to Gospel music, especially the Gaither Vocal Band. Mrs. Webb is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-two years, Burkett H. Webb; an infant daughter, Betty Jo Webb; her daughter, Jinger Lee Webb and a brother, Al Stout. Survivors include her son, James H. (Catrina Harvey) Webb of Cleveland, Ohio; her companion of almost ten years, Ronald M. Morris of Kinsman, Ohio; her granddaughter, Alysia Groscost of Strongsville, Ohio; two great grandsons, Owen and Isaac George; nephew, Joseph S. Presley of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; two brothers, Ray (Arlene) Stout of Brunswick, Ohio and Larry (Margaret) Stout of Cleveland, Ohio; sister-in-law, Patsy Stout of Gulf Shores, Alabama and many nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00am at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery of Wayne, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 8th at the funeral home from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
