Alyssa May Prior, 33, a former Bristol resident, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. Alyssa was born June 22, 1985 in Bristol, daughter of Richard M. Prior and the late Kathleen (Busha) Olson. Alyssa loved cats and being with her mother and family.

Besides her father she leaves, 2 children; her brothers, James Jerome, Joshua and Matthew Prior; her Auntie Karen (Busha) Armstrong and her stepmom Karen (Bard) Prior. She also leaves behind her paternal grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Anthony and her maternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Keystone House, checks payable to the Matt Barba Homestead and mailed to the Webster Bank 145 Highland Avenue, Cheshire, CT 06410. The Keystone House/CT Healing Center is set up to help with substance abuse recovery. Funeral services are private.
