Edwin Roderick Ives Jr., 99, of Terryville, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday November 24, 2018. He was born in Litchfield, CT on April 8, 1919, the son of the late Edwin R. and Leva (Osborn) Ives. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of WWII.

He was a member of the American Legion Plymouth Post #20, Lions Club, Elks Club and several local town committees. Ed was diverse in many trades and worked primarily as a master plumber. He was predeceased by Annette W. Ives, his wife of over 40 years, and is survived by their six children, Nanci Morton, Jeanne Anthony, Roderick Ives, Thomas Ives, Robert Ives, Christine Ives, 14 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by his present wife Dorothy Ives and stepsons, David and Mark Micloskey. A memorial service will be held at the Terryville Congregational Church, 233 Main St., Terryville, CT on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00AM with a reception to follow.
