Obituary for Amanda Loretta Middleton Loretta Middleton, 67 Lakeland- Amanda Loretta Middleton, 85, died peacefully on December 18, 2018. Loretta was born in Brownfield, Illinois on April 19, 1933 to the late Perry and Rabia Reames. She grew up in Southern Illinois and graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School.

Loretta, a homemaker, resided and raised her children in Southern Illinois, Kentucky, and Michigan. Loretta was known for her warm demeanor and gracious hospitality. She retired to Lakeland, Florida, and was an active member and beloved Sunday School teacher at Crestview Baptist Church.

Loretta is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Gene Middleton; children, Linda, Matthew (Jenny), and Richard (Stephanie); 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and was reunited in Heaven with deceased son, Mark, and son-in-law, Kevin. Visitation (10 AM) and funeral services (11AM) will be conducted Friday, December 21, 2018 at Crestview Baptist Church, 615 Old Polk City Rd, Lakeland, FL 33809, followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Loretta’s name to Crestview Baptist Church Building Fund 615 Old Polk City Road, Lakeland FL 33809.
