Amanda Lynn Webster Widdison April 14, 1980 ~ January 21, 2019 Amanda Lynn Webster Widdison, 38, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, January 21, 2019. She was born April 14, 1980 in Layton, Utah to Rene Yarbrough Cates. She was raised and educated in Layton, graduating from Layton High School in 1998.

On November 2, 2000, Amanda married Justin Widdison in Layton, Utah. Their marriage was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on November 2, 2007. She loved her kids more than anything.

She is loved. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and being with family. She was a loving mom and wife.

Her smile and laughter could light up a room and boy could she talk your ear off. She will be greatly missed. Her mother loves her so much and will miss her always.

Amanda is survived by the love of her life, Justin, their five children, Taylee, CharlaMae, McKaylee, Justine and Sammee, her mother, Rene (Andy) Cates, brother, Bryan (Kasey) Webster, sister, Tammy (Levi) Christensen, and father and mother-in-law, Kyle and Lana Widdison. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Syracuse Augusta Chapel, 3426 West Augusta Drive. The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
