Sharon Mikesell Burningham, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed from this life January 16, 2019 after a heart attack, surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old. Sharon was born in Porteville, Utah on March 15, 1936, to Clifton and Nona Porter Mikesell.

She was raised in Porterville, attended Morgan schools, graduating from Morgan High School in 1954. She lived the major part of her life in Davis County, last residing in Kaysville. A hard worker her entire life, she was devoted to her family and friends.

She took great joy in tending her grandkids. Survived by four children, Cindy Howe, Layton, Brent (Shelley) Burningham, Clearfield, Gayle (Alan) Benson, Plain City, and Brad Burningham, Layton. She has 11 grandchildren, and 28 grandchildren.

Also survived by her siblings, Rhea Smith, Marilyn Beaujeu, Pamela Ramage, Joyce Barton, and Robert Mikesell. Welcomed into loving arms of parents and brother Kent. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No.
