Buddie H. Riddle December 18, 1930 ~ January 18, 2019 Buddie H. Riddle passed away in Ogden, Utah on Friday, January 18, 2019. Buddie was born in Ogden to Russell Monroe and Vivetta Henderson Riddle on December 18, 1930; he was the third of fifteen children. After graduating from Ogden High School, Buddie worked in various jobs before beginning his civil service career, first at DDO and later at Hill Air Force Base.

He retired from the base as a non-destructive aircraft inspector. After retirement, he worked as a recess monitor for Ogden City Schools for more than 20 years. Buddie married his best friend, Charlene Merrill in 1955 and they recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.

They raised their two sons in Ogden and enjoyed camping and fishing together, as well as traveling. In younger years, Buddie coached little league baseball and was an active scouter. A hard-worker, Buddie was a loving, caring, and devoted husband and father.

He was a member of the National Active And Retired Federal Employees Association. Buddie is survived by his wife, Charlene; two sons: Brent (Paulette) Riddle, Layton, UT; Kurt (Nancy) Riddle, Tigard, OR; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers: Russell, George; sisters: Betty, Linda, Doretta, and Karen. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Friends may visit with family for a memorial celebration of life on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
