Amy Knutson, 56, of Puposky, MN died Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her home in her husband’s arms with her daughter by her side. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji with Pastor Genelle Netland officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Bemidji. Amy Louise Zapp was born October 28, 1961 in Duluth to Reginald and Martha (Carlson) Zapp. She grew up and graduated from Proctor High School in 1979.

Amy moved to Bemidji in 2006. On August 18, 2007 she married Larry Knutson at their home on Big Turtle Lake. Amy worked in retail her entire life working at K-mart for 32 years and recently L&M Fleet.

Amy enjoyed her flowers, crocheting, cooking, reading and being outdoors. She is survived by her husband, Larry Knutson of Puposky; daughter, Chelsey (Zach) Folkert of Fosston; son, Myles (Sheila) Shykes; step-children, Trevor (Leanne) Knutson, Tracey (Connie) Knutson, Chad (Kate) Knutson, Casey (Jenny) Knutson, Melana Knutson; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Eileen (Robert) Haylicek, Claudia (Bill) Bailey, John (Karen) Zapp, Elizabeth (Ron) Long, Jeff (Arleen) Zapp, Mark (Barb) Zapp, Steven (Jackie) Zapp, Brian (Becky) Zapp and David (Sandy) Zapp. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Marty Zapp; sister, Laurie Zapp; parent-in-laws, Karel and Dolores Knutson and sister-in-law, Gail LaFontaine.
