Obituary for An S. Henderson An Tilbury Henderson passed away peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2018. An was born on Aug. 5, 1934 in Bloomington, Ill.

to Owen and Virginia Tilbury. After moving to Texas, she attended Arlington Heights High School and was a 1958 TCU graduate. An retired from FWISD in 1995 after teaching 4th and 5th graders at Mary Louise Phillips Elementary for 39 years.

Many of her students stayed in touch with her over the years. She was loved and respected by many in the Ridglea community and was a member of Ridglea Presbyterian Church. An was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who watched every game dressed from head to toe in her Dallas Cowboys clothes, jewelry, and gear.

She was an artist, loved to read, and was a lifelong learner. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Kent Tilbury. The family would like to thank the staff of Renaissance Park, and Vitas Hospice for their care of An.

An is survived by her son, Randy Peart and wife, Treyonne; grandson, Josh Reed and wife, Brooke; great grandson, William of North Richland Hills; nephews, Korry Tilbury and wife, Karen of Edgewood, N.M., Kelly Tilbury and wife, Tammy of Bangor, Wis. , and niece, Kim Tilbury of Lyndhurst, Va. She will be deeply missed by her dear friends and caretakers, Vivienne and Veronica Lambe, who were family to An and was always known to them as “Gram An”.
