Obituary for Thomas Nathan Richards CROWLEY – Thomas Nathan Richards, 81, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018. Celebration of Life: 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Saint Francis Village Catholic Chapel, with Pastor Carl Schroeder officiating. Thomas was born Oct.

5, 1936, in Saginaw, Mich. to George M. and Inez Margaret Beckwith Richards. After graduation from Arthur Hill High School in 1955, Thomas was hired by Morley Brothers of Saginaw and later Lukas Industries where he served as the chief purchasing agent for 43 years.

Upon retirement, he moved to Jacksonville, Fla. , residing there for more than a decade before relocating to Texas and Saint Francis Village in Crowley. He enjoyed painting, writing poetry, home improvement, cars and especially spending time with his best friend, Jean.

Survivors: Wife, Jean Richards; children, Todd Richards of Houston, Chris Richards of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Leslie Elliot of Ypsilanti, Mich. , and Cheryl Prikasky of Burleson; brother, George Richards; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous friends. He will be greatly missed.
