M. Ana Ybarra February 28, 1929 – January 7, 2019 M. Ana Ybarra, 89, of Moline, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at home, peacefully surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 4 – 7 p.m. at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m. A Mass in her honor will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 10 at St. Mary’s Church, Moline. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Moline.

Ana was born on February 28, 1929 to Maria Raya and J. Guadalupe Ybarra in Puerta Del Monte, Gto, Mexico. She married Jose Raya on November 7, 1946 in Puerta Del Monte, Gto, Mexico. Together they had five children.

Ana enjoyed cooking and being around her family. Survivors include sons, Arturo Raya, Moline, Porfirio Raya, Moline, Ramiro (Maria) Raya, Moline and Miguel Raya; grandchildren, Mario (Cindy) Raya, Moline, Laura Raya (Jose Solis), Moline, Jose (Sandra) Raya, Moline, Elizabeth Raya (Rob Meija), East Moline; great-grandchildren, Roselin Solis, Mario Raya, Jr., Crystal Solis, Jocelyn Raya, Giselle Raya, Hector Raya, Issac Raya, Miklo Meija; siblings, Jesus (Gloria) Ybarra, Mexico, Angelina (Agustin) Ybarra, Elgin, IL, Carmen Romero (Jose), San Pedro, CA and various nieces and nephews. Ana was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jose, and their daughter, Laura.
