MANTUA Andras “Andy” Geber, 67 years of age, passed away Friday September 28, 2018 at his residence. Born in Yugoslavia on January 1, 1951, he was the son of the late Istvan and Ana (Belak) Geber, II. He had been employed as a machinist at Swagelok in Solon, Ohio.

Andy enjoyed fishing and playing pool and soccer with his son, and had been a Mantua Youth Soccer Coach with his son’s team. Andy also truly loved the time he spent with his daughters children leaving lasting memories for his grandchildren of their special grandpa. He was a longtime member of the Hungarian Culture Club in Hiram where he would socialize with his many Hungarian friends.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Hancz) Geber; his son Andrew Geber of North Royalton, Ohio and daughter Debra (Brent) Horton of Cornelius, North Carolina; brother George (Slavica) Geber of Inverness, Illinois and his loving grandchildren Abbie and Reese, and many other caring family members. He was preceded in death in 2006 by his brother Istvan “Steve” Geber, III. Funeral services will be Friday October 5, 2018, 12:00 Noon at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt.

44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Edward Stafford of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mantua.
