Andrew’s Obituary Mr. Andrew Erwin “Andy” (Uncle A.E.) Harris, age 65, a resident of Columbia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 17, 2019 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Pulaski. A funeral service for Mr. Harris will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 22nd in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Roberts officiating.

Burial will follow in McCains Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 21st from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born April 12, 1954 in Maury County, TN, he was the son of the late James L. Harris and Pellie Mae Erwin Harris. Before retiring, he worked for Larry Warren Insulation and was a member of Local 86 Asbestos Union. Mr. Harris enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, gardening and especially loved grilling and entertaining.

Mr. Harris is survived by the love of his life for 20 years: Carolyn Harris; daughter: Kim Harris Hargrove (Tad) of Lewisburg and son Jason Erwin Harris of Shelbyville; grandchildren: Straton Hammond, Laken Hammond and Jacey Liggett; brothers: Robert Lee Harris, William Allen (Carolyn) Harris of Columbia, Clyde Edward (Linda) Harris of Culleoka and sister: Margaret Harris of Texas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Carolyn Sue Bowen and nephew Scotty Harris. Pallbearers will be: David Evans, Billy Harris, Mike Harris, Tim Harris, Brad Harris and Jimmy Lawhorne.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Johnny Wilson, Bobby Mangrum, Richard Whitley, Ronnie Riggins, and Dale “Bushog” Tomlin.
