Obituary for Mr. Andrew “Sonny Boy” Johnson Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 747 N Union St., Opelousas LA 70570. for Mr. Andrew Johnson, 76, who entered eternal life on Friday, June 29, 2018 at his residence. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park.

Rev. Lambert Lien, SVD will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Andrew leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his legacy, sons, Anthony Johnson of Crowley, LA and Valerio Woods (Katina) of Opelousas, LA, daughters, Alicia Taylor (Tim), of Houston, TX, Sheila Johnson Mouton of Crowley, LA, Linda Hill of Opelousas, LA and Theresa Rosette also of Opelousas, LA.

, brother Irvin Johnson, sister Anna Bell Burnette, (20) grandchildren, (27) great grandchildren, (3) great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his companion of 30 years, Betty Andrus, parents Paul Johnson, Sr. and Bernadette Sam Johnson, two brothers, Archie Johnson and Paul Johnson, Jr., sister Anna Mae Johnson, one Uncle Morman Joe Sam, Aunt Ruby Hall, maternal grandparents, Joseph Sam and Pamella Reed Sam paternal grandparents, Lucille P. Hall, Victoria Johnson Pelican. The family request visiting hours be observed from 7:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 817 E. South Street, Opelousas, LA.
