Obituary for Angela Tegethoff Kopp Angela Tegethoff Kopp, 74, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Friday, September 7, 2018 with her family by her side. She was a native of Louisville, daughter of the late John E. Hawkins, Sr. and Mildred DeGrella Hawkins. She was a graduate of Bellarmine University and earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Louisville.

She taught school for over 40 years at St. Margaret Mary. She was preceded in death by her father; and her 1st husband, Dennis R. Tegethoff, Sr She is survived by her 2nd husband, Norbert Allen Kopp; mother, Mildred DeGrella Hawkins; her children, Dennis R. Tegethoff, Jr. (Trish), Christina L. Riddle (David), Joseph A. Tegethoff (Ursula), Paul Kopp (Terri), Karen Blair, Kevin Kopp; 12 grandchildren, Joseph Tegethoff, Meridith Tegethoff, Hannah Tegethoff, Frank Tegethoff, Allie Woodrum, Austin Riddle, Josie Tegethoff, Jordan Tegethoff, Zach Blair, Emma Kopp, Abby Kopp, Reyanna Kopp; and 5 siblings, Virginia Shepard (Alex), John E. Hawkins, Jr., (Gayle), Robert Hawkins (Denise), Frank Hawkins (Diana), Candy Sells (Mark), and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 8p.m. Monday and 3 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road “in St. Matthews”. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or the WHAS Crusade for Children.
