Obituary for Angus J. Sullivan Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at New Hope Valley Assisted Living. Age 84 years.

The son of the late John T. and Frances E. (O’Henley) Sullivan, Angus was born on June 7, 1933 in Bad Axe, Michigan. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been married to Patricia M. (Hyland) Sullivan.

She predeceased him on April 14, 2018. Angus loved spending time at the cottage on Jose Lake. He was a big M.S.U. fan, masterful card player, avid reader and enjoyed cooking.

He was very proud of his Irish heritage. Angus was a member of the Eagles Club and the former Wolga Club and Pioneer Club. Surviving to cherish his memory are one son and one daughter, Alan and Connie Sullivan, Bay City; Sarah and Matt Doyle, College Station, Texas; five grandchildren, Ian Doyle, Ryan Sullivan, Maria Sullivan, Emily Guno and William Doyle; four great-grandchildren, Madison Gruno, Alannah Jarrell-Doyle, Jack Gruno, Knox Gruno; one sister and one brother, Rosemary Daley and Jerry (Florence) Sullivan; many nieces, nephews and special friends.

Angus was preceded in death by one sister, three brothers and a great-grandson, Joshua Gruno. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 Christ the Good Shepherd Parish – St. Helen Catholic Church. Rev.

Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Military Honors will be rendered.

Honoring Mr. Sullivan’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home where the family will be present on and on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Travis Mills Foundation or the Sandra Kahn Fund – Cartwright Hospice Residence.
