Obituary for Richard A. Pollick Pinconning, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Huron Woods Nursing Center in Pinconning, Michigan. Age 86 years. The son of the late Stephen and Paula (Holik) Pollick, Richard was born on October 7, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He graduated from Holy Family High School Class of 1950. He married Alice J. Falkenhagen, his high school sweetheart, on May 17, 1952. She survives him.

Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifelong member of the Saginaw Field and Stream Club, American Legion Post #104 and V.F.W. Post #3724. Richard retired from General Motors Nodular Iron Foundry in 1987 where he had worked as a General Foreman.

He then went on to work as a Foreman at Grede Foundry in Vassar and retired in 1996. Surviving besides his wife Alice are two sons and one daughter, Richard (Yvonne) Pollick, Pinconning; Suzanne M. (John) Pollick, Akron; David (Sharon) Pollick, Birch Run; his grandchildren, Lindsay Pollick, Thomas (Michelle) Pollick, Erin Lee (Ian) Bissonnette, Amy (Paul) Kramer, Lacee (Daniel) Smith; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Steven (Jean) Pollick, Oakley and Michael (Terry) Pollick, Florida; many dearly loved nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his son, Thomas A. Pollick; his daughter, Alice M. Chambers and two brothers, Robert Pollick and Joseph Pollick.

Honoring Mr. Pollick’s wishes, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty).

Rev. Fr. Edwin Dwyer will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
