Obituary for Claude A. Husted Jr. Husted Jr., Claude A, Saginaw Twp. , Michigan. Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper Campus.

Age 78 years. Son of the late Claude A. and Marie (Golwitzer) Husted, Claude was born April 21, 1939 in Kalkaska, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee.

He married Jacquelyn M. (Weeden) Kenny on October 9, 1998. She survives him. Claude was a Master Carpenter for Carpenters Union Local #706 retiring in 1999.

He was a member St. Dominic Parish, the Moose, and the Eagles, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, and served on the Board of Directors at Eaton Credit Union. He enjoyed racing, bowling, hunting, golfing and playing cards. Surviving besides his wife Jacquelyn are two daughters and one son, Timothy Claude Husted, Las Vegas, Nevada; Darla (James) Yang, Fountain Valley, California; Kimberly (Daniel) Vallera, Richfield, Minnesota; two stepdaughters, Carole (Tony) Anderson, Lackawanna, New York; AnneMarie (Robert) Reh, Saginaw; one stepson, Daniel J. (Brandy) Kenny II, Oakley; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Claude was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Gallihugh, and his brother, Carl Husted. Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. Dominic Parish, Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave, Saginaw.

Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate.

Burial will take place in City of Midland Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Friday with Military Services conducted by V. F. W. Post #1859. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.

A Vigil Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Habitat for Humanity or the Mustard Seed Shelter.
