Obituary for Denise (Dee) DesJardin Beloved wife and daughter passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018. Age 65 years. The daughter of Clarice (Shannon) DesJardin and the late Francis DesJardin, Dee was born September 6, 1952 in Escanaba, Michigan.

She married Thomas E. Trombley on August 19, 1988. He survives her. Dee attended Central Michigan University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1974 and her Master’s Degree in 1978.

She had taught in the Saginaw Township Schools and was adjunct instructor at Central Michigan University, Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University in English and Reading. Dee was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Saginaw Garden Club and P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization). She enjoyed gardening, cooking desserts, reading and traveling.

Surviving besides her husband Tom are her mother, Clarice (Sade) DesJardin; one sister and two brothers, Peggy (Lynn) Ash, David (Marta) DesJardin, Daniel (Bonnie) DesJardin; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26. 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State Street in Saginaw.

Rev. Fr. Richard Bokinskie will officiate.

Honoring Dee’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
