Ann (Buhl) Miller, 83, longtime resident of Muncy and most recently of Hughesville, died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her home. Born April 13, 1936 in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late Howard “Pete” and Sarah “Helen” (Watts) Buhl. On October 25, 1957 she married Donald “Boney” Miller, who survives.

Together they celebrated 61 years of marriage. Ann attended schools in Millville and then served her country in the Women’s Army Corp. She later worked for many years at the former Carey-McFalls, Montoursville and Country Store, Pennsdale.

Ann’s greatest passion was raising her family and being a caring homemaker. Ann was a longtime member of Muncy Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Edward J. Smith Post 3428 V.F.W., the Roland Ritter American Legion Post 268, and the Muncy Valley Moose.

Ann enjoyed canning, watching QVC, and traveling, especially to local casinos. Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Roxann Kolbrich and her spouse, Robert, of Hughesville, Michael Miller, of Livermore, CO, James Miller and his spouse, Russell Loring, of Cathedral City, CA, and Shonny Miller and her fiancé, Mark Shultz, of Millville; one brother, Tex Buhl and his spouse, Gloria, of White Deer; one sister, Sue Lowrie and her spouse, Tom, of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Thomas Miller.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Muncy Baptist Church, 11 W. Penn St., Muncy, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Robert W. Rice, officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Muncy Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Ann’s memory be made to the Muncy Baptist Church, 11 W. Penn St., Muncy, PA 17756. The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
