ANN’s Obituary Ann F. Danelski Ann F. Danelski, 97, Bremen Twp. , Pine County, died Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. She was born on June 17, 1921 in Sturgeon Lake and was the second child born to Joseph and Aloise Schejbal.

Ann attended Cherry Grove Country School and later Willow River High School. She worked on her parents farm and also worked a housekeeping job in St. Paul. Ann was united in marriage to Philip Danelski on June 21, 1940 in Sturgeon Lake.

They farmed the Danelski Homestead west of Willow River until they retired from farming in 1979 and built a retirement home in Bremen Twp. In addition to being a farmer’s wife and mother to 4 children, Ann worked as a seasonal worker for General Andrews Nursery for 39 years, retiring in 2000. Ann also made Christmas wreaths for Bachman’s in the Twin Cities, local residents, and her family and friends.

Her most cherished interests were her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening both vegetables and flowers and enjoyed birds and animals. Ann was a wonderful cook and baker and was best known for her homemade bread and kolaches.

She was very devoted to her Catholic faith and was a member of St. Mary’s and its Legion of Mary. Ann was preceded in death by husband, Phil in 1987; her parents: Joseph and Aloise; son-in-law: David Bartholomaus; and a sister: Mildred Paulson. She will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Gary (Katie) Danelski of Willow River; Barbara Bartholomaus of Elk River; Ginger (Stan) Walker of St. Cloud; and Mike (Deb) Danelski of Willow River; 7 grandchildren: Nathan Danelski, Kerry Danelski, Nicholas Walker, Jamie Danelski, Jennifer Olson, Joe Danelski, and Jake Danelski; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister: Helen Studnek of Anchorage, AK; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Willow River. A Rosary Service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Willow River, MN.
