Ann Marie (LeBel) Dumont, 76, of Douglas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on September 6, 2018. Born in Worcester on April 30, 1942, she joins her son Richard B. Dumont and great-grandson Christian Richard Dumont in the afterlife. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Ronald Dumont, of Douglas; daughter René Brown of Charlton; son Randy Dumont and his wife Tina of N. Andover; and grandchildren Adam Labonte of Tampa, Fla.

While her main occupation was raising her children and later babysitting her grandchildren, she enjoyed stints of employment with Mr. Christmas in Douglas and Beaumont Nursing Home in Northbridge.

Upon her husband’s retirement, they enjoyed traveling to Maine and New England attractions. Ron and Ann joined the Douglas Senior Center, and, when her health permitted her, she was a frequent attendee at bingo games at senior centers throughout the Blackstone Valley. Ann was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan.

A frequent TV watcher, she likely saw every episode of Law & Order twice. Ann loved animals, and over the years she provided loving care for countless dogs and cats her children would bring home. A calling hour will be held Tuesday, Sept.
