Ann Trissell, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 17, 2018. She was born on August 8, 1927 in Lasara, Texas to Dellon and Ruth Shelton and passed peacefully at Elkwood Assisted Living Center in Elk City, Oklahoma. Ann graduated from Highway High School.

After high school she met and married her best friend and sweetheart, Russell Trissell in 1945. Following their marriage, they made their home in the Port Community where they farmed and ranched. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Elk City, Oklahoma. Dr. Russell Duck will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Cherishing her memory are two daughters-in-law, Bonnie Trissell of Clinton, Oklahoma, Sharon Trissell of Elk City, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Tracy Showalter and her husband Ron of Clinton, Oklahoma, Anna Peters and her husband, Brett of Seguin, Texas; two great-grandsons, Gage Russell Peters and Joe Wade Peters. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dellon and Ruth Shelton; husband, Russell Trissell; two sons, Terry Trissell and Darrell Trissell; daughter, Kathryn Trissell; grandson, Brooks Trissell; granddaughter, Natalie Trissell; brother, John Shelton; sister, Virginia Coy.
